What is Pediatric Dentistry?

a. Preventative Dental Services

These services include all children’s dental services meant to prevent common kids’ dental health problems i.e:

Dental exam: Children should go for their first dental exam within 6 months of their first tooth erupting or before 1 year, at the latest. Our dental exams for children examine everything from the teeth to the jaws, gums, bite, and overall oral tissue growth and development.
Dental cleaning: If a dental exam reveals the need for cleaning, we offer gentle cleaning services which include removing any stains, tartar, and/or plaque.
Oral hygiene techniques: We may also review proper dental hygiene techniques to ensure your child has the skills required to maintain clean and healthy teeth. This service can extend to caregivers i.e., equipping parents with the skills to help maintain their child’s dental health.
General education: We also educate parents/caregivers on children’s dental growth and development. This includes guidance on the eruption of primary and permanent teeth and ways of preventing the need for orthodontic treatment in the future.

b. Restorative Dental Services

If your child develops a cavity or other dental health problems, we have restorative services encompassing all services meant to restore their dental health. These services include:

Fluoride treatment: For supplementing oral hygiene routines and preventing tooth decay
